Birdman Sound celebrates 12, 775 + days of vinyl LPs this coming Saturday...💕
Record Store Day is an annual event inaugurated in 2007 to "celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store". What started out as a truly great idea, pretty much became an exercise in rookery and grifting. Aside from the 1st couple of years, it quickly became a costly exercise for those that chose to participate with their generally sub standard shops, pretending they had great shit goin' on! 1 or 2 days a year does NOT make you cool fucking beans, the bullshit detector goes off every fucking time...FUCK RSD! Birdman Sound celebrates everyday as Record Store Day becasue it's life and life is music and it's been that way forever. There's a Birdman Sound mobile Pop Up Shop this Saturday, the 20th of April at Dave's Drum Shop where you'll find some of the greatest records currently available. There is an actual educated, non spoon fed, bottle bred reason for everything we stock, nothing is accidental, nothing is trendy. Birdman Sound defines bonafide curation. Maybe we'll see you there!👽
Birdman Sound will be slinging vinyl in Montreal at this fine show at the end of the month. My longtime record fair cohorts Serge and Brian will also be selling wax. Come check out our selection. What we sell is stuff you don't see often unless you purchase from us regularly! Hope to see you there!👽
