Bill Orcutt brings his tenacious and experimental/blues/folk instrumental guitar stylings to
Ottawa on Monday, June 6th. A friend gave me a copy of his 2009 release "A New Way to Pay Old Debts" and I tell ya simply....."Holy shit" !! This dude plays a four string acoustic guitar with an over the edge rawness that blends the best John Fahey with Richard Bishop and confronts the grey matter with a noisy, jagged and bent approach to roots oriented music.
